Thank you to al who attended last week’s 100th anniversary service at Crestview. Thank you to those who shared their stories in worship, you helped make this special celebration meaningful for us all. through your generosity we raised $1529 for 1Just City and trunk full of toiletries, juice and snacks.

Thank you to all who attended, volunteered and donated auction items for the Band Concert on June 7th. We raised $1640 .00

We will be joining with Crestview United church to Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the United CHurch of Canada.

The service is at 11 am at Crestview United church 316 Hamilton AVe.

The service will be followed by a cold dish Potluck lunch.

Outreach Event

Please join the St. Charles Headingley United Church Outreach Committee for an

EDUCATIONAL EVENT

Viewing of the “Honor to Senator Murray Sinclair” documentary video ( about 30 minutes) followed by discussion. 

This film was directed by Alanis Obomsawin and was released in 2021.  It includes excerpts of former Senator Murray Sinclair’s 2016 acceptance speech when he was presented an award by the World Federalist Movement – Canada for his role as Chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada combined with personal testimonies from Residential School survivors. 

LOCATION:  St. Charles Headingley United Church

     110 Bridge Road, Headingley

DATE:  Tuesday, May 13 at 1:30 p.m.

Refreshments will be provided.
